The “JUST BETWEEN US” Surprise

One more! Again! OMG!!That was like really fast...Three in a row is hard to digest you know (very much)...I expected the next one after Akshatha to take some time, then I hear about Ranjitha, and I was like OKAY!!The next one is not gonna be soon for sure (What was I thinking!!!), but then again here comes the next surprise...And this time its Viki....Unexpected Yes!!...

When Viki told me She is getting engaged I actually got a little emotional, though I ‘m really very Happy about it (I feel like watching a depressing bollywood bidai and shed some tears) Of course I knew it was gonna happen one day :-s, Very soon actually; In fact I desperately did wait for this but when I hear it, feel it’s too early...Something like having fun together ‘being single’ for 7 years was not enough or I don’t know what :-s:-*-)*-)...

I remember almost a year and a half back when I heard about Thanj being engaged I had this very disturbed feeling and I actually typed down a long centi message about keeping in touch and being there for each other always and what not.. And after she got married, I got restless and waited for her to call me, which she did like after a day or two of her wedding and I felt so very much relievedJJJ....

Now I have exactly the same mixed feelings...I’m Very Happy for you Viki and I also have this teeny tiny sad feeling about sharing another best friend of mine with One more person which I hate to say (I’m very Selfish and mostly hate to share what I love, which I’m not very proud of; and probably that’s y the feel so). And I wonder why I have butterflies in my tummy...

Nicholas Sparks :A Feel Good Therapy

From the time I watched “The Vow” I’m more in love with Nicholas sparks moviesJJ... (I love reading Nicholas sparks as well) A feel good and happily ever after love story and it feels so dam good to see a relationship fall in place after all the hardships ..WOW!!JJJJ

It’s been three weeks since I watched “The Vow” (which I watched  crying and smiling throughoutJJ)... but the movie is still fresh and  doing rounds in my mind .Most of the time I’m lost in my world smiling to myself thinking about it and trying to link myself with the movie..Oh Yes!! I love dreaming; I can stop doing anything and just dream all day. And I have this habit of imagining me in a nice happy happy dramatic romance (It’s like a feel good therapy, and I need it all the time) JJJJJJ

For me watching/reading a Nicholas Sparks is just because I love to be in the “Romantic Hangover “mode. And the best part, most of his work is inspired by true stories and that makes me feel even better JJJ(something like true love can survive anythingJJJJ) and believe me you can stick to a nice happy mood after a dosage of Nicholas Sparks JJJJ

The Notebook, Walk to Remember, True Believer, Message in a bottle, Nights at Rodanthe, The Last Song, Dear John and  now “The Vow”. They have all given me very similar mixed emotions. Waiting to read the rest of his work which I’m sure I’ll love.

Just writing about it makes me feel like drifting back to my dream landJJJJJJJJJ

And yeah!! My girlies...Watch This Movie, You’ll all love itJJJ.

A week of wait and then arrives the long awaited days ” Saturday and Sunday” weekend as we call itJJ...no matter what we do, how much fun we have/how bad the weekend goes, when Monday arrives the countdown begins for the next weekend... How much we love it!!JJJJ

I totally love to laze around on weekends. Sleep for long hours, Have a nice heavy breakfast which I never want to miss and prefer my all time favorites most of the time (Aloo Paratha made with ghee along with loads of butter topping and Bread omelet are my favoritesJJJJ), a little bit of cleaning, Shopping (most of the time as the internet shopping bug, also, bit me a few months back), a nice oil massage for my hair, Pamper myself with a haldi face pack (which is the only think I prefer doing for my face, I love the yellow look you see;-)JJ), a nice looooooong shower which I love and then simply go back to bed with a book in hand(mills and boon of course!!).Aaahh...amazing!!...I feel like in heaven when I laze around and there’s nobody to bother me aroundJJJ,it’s just me and my food and my book and my bed .

And then one day I start hating being alone, it feels like heaven to me to be with the people I love the most, prefer lots of chit chat around (which is mostly idhar udhar ki bathe), yummy food, shopping, fun, acting silly, cooking together etc etc (Food and Shopping is a must for me all the time)...From that minute for me, being with the people I love is what I feel I love the mostJJJJ..These different moods and sudden thoughts, this is not just with me, half the women in the world are like this...we have one thought now, and thad comes another from nowhere and the next moment we have our very famous mood swings.....any ways let me just talk about me now and not deviate away...

...My last weekend was with the people I love the mostJJJJhad the bestest of timesJJJ. Loved every minute and almost did everything I love... was surrounded with Madness, Lots of Chit Chat, Cooked some horrible food (I din’t find it horrible but others who ate it said that, which I want to believe is not trueKK) and did make some yummy dishes as well (I feel top of the world for thatJJJ), lazed around and so much, so much moreJJJJ...amazing it was...perfectho (like my colleague says!!)JJJ

Between all that we have our next from our “who’s next” list!!...Ranjitha NayakJJ...Congrats Ranji......She has a very perfect fairy tale love story ...Boy likes gal, Gal likes him too, but wants parents consent, boy speaks to his parents and his parents speak to her parents and then it’s a yes from all!!..And all this takes just a couple of daysJJJ...Lucky you Ranjitha, Very happy for you and your Mr. Right, wish you both all the happiness in the world.

Fake attitude v/s Being You :-p

Fake Attitude!!! How many of us like it??!!!...Fact is we don’t like it when people show us ‘the fake attitude’ but then we don’t realize when we do it...I mean, we may not do it like always but at least posting a “plastic smile” once a while is fake too *-)...So I guess we should learn to deal with the fake people, rather than just get bothered about them and defend ourselves...It’s a small dosage of gyan which probably I need the most...

And now a bit of gyan about what’s been running in my head, for people who don’t realize their fakeness and the fact that it has become very much a part of them...here it goes.....

1: You don’t have to compliment somebody just because the person standing next to you compliments “that Somebody”(it’s the most common thing we come across along with the plastic smile)...each one of us have different perceptions, nobody is forcing you to like what others like/have, then y do it forcefully!!!...

2: The other side of it, you like something just compliment whole heartedly, be happy for the other person rather then make the person feel you are doing it “for the sake of it” which is the most disgusting thing to do!!!...

3: Practice being genuine with your very own people. (Yes, this needs to be told too:-p:-p)

*-)*-)..I think that’s the “TOP 3”and I mean all of it in a very nice way!!! :-pJJ...

I got a “for the sake of it” compliment a couple of days back which I realized that very moment8-) and it was kinda burning me, (Sometimes just a pin prick bothers you more than you’re running noseKK)...Hmmm!!...I feel better when I put it out of meJJJI guess writing helps!!! JJJJJJ

And about the whole hearted Compliments and wishes, I learnt it from a few friends of mine...there’s a pause when they don’t like things or probably it’s just told to me directly in a very nice way and when they say something I know they really mean itJJJTrue... And I do have friends who genuinely likes everything about everybody and never see wrong in anybody. I’m not exaggerating that and “It’s no way fake ”...It’s just special I guessJJJ

The whole point is, whateva you’re doing just remember the person in front definitely has the sense of understanding...So, the best thing to do is be yourself and be loved for what you genuinely are!!! That’s a win-win JJJJJ(It’s just my way of thinkingJJJJJ)

My Special one!!

Few people are special to us for very simple reasons and Prajna is simply special to me for every possible reason...She is mad, Cranky, crazy, Sporty, simple, Sweet and the most down to earth friend of mine...She is a whole bunch of happiness and carries with her a “no nonsense” attitude which I absolutely loveJJJJJJ...

She is different like her choice of ‘Pizza’ over ‘Cakes’ (for a birthday party I meanJJ), Chooses ‘sweet talks’ over ‘tantrums’, and of course she is fun being the entertainment factor she is (Which happens unintentionally most of the timeJJJJ)...Friends mean the world to her tooJJJ.

We ve together had the maddest of times, taking crap (Which I love to do it with you Praj), Making fun of rachna (Which I love even moreJJJJ), the “non veg mess time”, Shopping (Remember the wedding and the Wish list hunt!!!JJ), the Silly Gossips, acting Mad and much much moreJJ....

We love you for what you are Praj JJJ Wish you a very Happy Birthday and wish you All the Happiness in the world...Hope your madness stays with you foreverJJJJ..Here’s to you a bunch of memories with loads of love....

It’s been 10 years since I have known her (OMG!!!...A decade and I just realizedJJJ)... From classmates to best friends, I have had amazing memories with her...the prettiest gal in school and of course the prettiest in college too!! JJ...

A lot to say about her, but I’m really wondering where do I start from...Her cute smile (for which thousands of them fall) or her confused look (which everyone knows, the minute she has it on her face), her amazing sense of dressing or about the cleanliness freak she is, her super smart attitude or her super powerful brains (yeah!!!...she can remember chemistry which she studied months back:-p ;-)J)....

Whatever she is, she is the sweetest, smartest and one of the strongest friends I have had, the one friend who values relations so much better than any of us do, who can smile away her tears like none of us can do(that’s what I mean Strongest)and who can make us laugh with her confused lookJJJ... 

I still remember the birthday of yours which we spoilt it for you ShivJL(I really feel embarrassed now) and the birthday of yours when you were washing clothes at midnight while we waited for you with your birthday surpriseJJ...That’s ShivaniJJJ....

JJ...that’s the question we all had until yesterdayJJ...we did guess so many names.......but Surprise Surprise!! Its AkshathaJJJ...I swear I still can’t believe itJJ...

My guesses were wrong for sure, Most of ours actuallyJJJ...I kinda almost put Akshatha out of the list cuz of her MS plansJJJ... Couldn’t stop smiling when I read the mail, I was in the middle of a discussion with a colleague and kept her waiting just to read these never ending mails..I couldn’t stop myselfJJJ...Yeah!!! I know none of us could, I did imagine all the faces smiling at their monitors all excited reading the mail threadJJJ...
