It’s been more than a week since I’m back from my vacation and I have been really lazy to put up this blog…
So about my vacation, wonderful, fantastic, fabulous and more of all of itJJJ…Jaipur was our first location, Started off with visiting places right from the time I landed in Jaipur, The beautiful palaces won my heart…All of us kept wondering why one of these Palaces are not among the wonders of the world…we did cover almost all the places and then did keep some time for shopping ( which was on priority list in the agenda for my Mum and Aunt… Women!! J) JJ…the exhausting part was definitely the Bargaining… but we still did pretty well at that as my friend Indrani being a localite in Jaipur helped us big time with itJJ…
The next day we drove down to Ajmere and Pushkar…What irritated us the most was how the people try to swindle us for money, every second person around try and dupe…And more over the places are dirtied big time by tourist and local people as well…People simple make it impossible to walk with bare foot..It’s really sad……We were really exhausted that day, managing in the crowd, the heat and trying to protect our handbags and Wallets…ooffff!!…All of us were dying for rest and we needed it as we had more travel to do ;We had a Train to Delhi the same evening…Drove back to Jaipur got some rest and we were ready for DelhiJJ…
I had read reviews about Shatabdi express, and as read the served food right from the time we boarded till we reachedJ….We were occupied all through our journey just by eatingJ…Good food actually!!…The best part was by the time we reached we were all geared upJJand we had the best of driver who was very JovialJ…We start off with Delhi sightseeing the next day, loved every bit of it, Never did I thing New Delhi was soo beautifulJ, I kinda fell in love with the City ……but had too much of walking to do in every place we went…It was quite exhausting, because of which we had to drop down the Chandni Chowk Plans…and more over we had too much of travelling to do the next day,….
Agra it was the next dayJ…the drive was quite tiring…But the "Taj Mahal" left me awed…No wonder it is a “Wonder of the world”…I don’t need to say much about it…It’s what everyone knowJ…Our last day was totally “the Shopping Day” in Delhi……Mum and Aunt were literally dying to shop in Delhi, we hit Karol Baugh, Connaught place and Palika Bazar…We ended up buying two extra bags for all the shopping the ladies didJ…and more over there was more planning going on for the next visit to DelhiJJJ…It was absolute fun…In fact the Whole trip was absolute funJJ
Time to leave and I was the first one to Board the train……I was slightly upset my whole hyped up vacation got over, But my parents put up a more sad face when I leftJ……
I wish we have more of these fun tripsJJJJ
