HAPPY WOMENS DAY!!!!...Lots of Love

Babysitting an 8 year old: My first day:):)

Now that’s something new!!!...That’s what I’m doing lately; for the next one week…it’s my first timeJ…Right from waking him up in the morning, to putting him to sleepJJ...That’s how my day begins and ends now... JJJ.

It’s one job which keeps you on your feet full time…Damm!!!...I had just heard of it and of course seen mamma do it, but never really felt the pressure...Until today!!!…

Managing one kept me on my feet right from the time we woke up at 5.30A.M… freshen up, make breakfast for us, make sure he eats fast, keep pushing him for bath, make him drink milk, pack his lunch box, dress him up and drop him to the bus stop…oofff!!..Its 7A.M already.OMG!!...the little time I get in between is for me to eat, take a shower and dress up for office…Oh and disaster strikes too!!!…the geyser stopped working and he is not ready to take a cold water shower….I’m on my feet again heating water in the stove and running from the kitchen to the bath room…Finally he was ready!!...we rush to the bus stop and as we wait, there I’m staring at my watch hoping I don’t miss my cab…Put him in the bus, rush back home, get ready, and I’m on time for my cabJJ…Thank God for that!!!!......time flies just like that!!!…

I wonder how Mamma managed all three of us...

The tougher part for me was making him study…I was a little worried if I could manage doing that. Considering the fact that I’m horrible at it...BUT, I did fairly well last nightJ.....At least made sure all his home work was done and managed to finish up the TO-DO list in the dairyJJ...I’m pretty convinced with that.

 The only part where I really had to put a little effort was to bring him back home from the play ground last evening…my heart literally melts when he begs for 5 more minutes every time I call him home…You would want to let him play the whole evening when he makes that puppy face…I wouldn’t give up easily you seeJManaged to get him home cooking up stories…My evening was with Math, Social Studies, English literature and dictationJJ{I loved the dictation part the most, it’s fun when you are not the one writing down the spellingsJJ…I hated that part in school, wished I could just dictate…And here I’m dictating:-D:-D}.

I’m smiling end to end thinking about my Baby sitting…Until now it was fun!!!...I have more of this adventure coming my way…Hope the rest of the week goes well for meJJ

Lovey Dovey Valentine Moment:):)

She said” I love the way he treats me”… and broke into a wide smile that said it allJJ…It made me smile tooJJI was glad and said I was happy for herJJ, We hugged and continued with the celebration…This happened a few months back, on her bachelorette Party……I was waiting to see the two of them together on their wedding, It was gonna be the couple’s very special valentine MomentJJ

…We were there at the venue right on time, to see the handsome groom arrive at the wedding hallJJ…it was a happy ,chirpy and fun filled environment…curiosity was at its peak to see Shreshta…Ah!!...And there she was flashing her smile, draped in a heavy Kanjivaram saree, hair decked with jasmine flowers and the make up just perfect. The wedding rituals began and there we were to witness the moment of Joy. Their wide smiles as they exchanged garlands were worth the world... they were declared Man and Wife as he tied the ‘mangalsutra’ around her neck. It was their very special Valentine moment, a moment of Joy, a moment of love, a moment of newness, a moment of celebrationJJ

It feels amazing to be a part of your friend’s very special momentJJ…It was a day to cherish and rejoice foreverJJ…

Shreshta and Dheeraj, wish you both a very Happy Married Life and many more lovey Dovey momentsJJ….

  

                        

Akshatha This time: A Beautiful Wedlock:)

I was back in Mangalore to witness another sweetheart being married…The second wedding in the row, and this time it was the sweetest smile on earth being married.

It was special again...Of course the usual fact that it gets special when we meet up, all the married girls were accompanied by their hubbies which was really nice (we aren’t really used to it;), but the addition of Hubbies did not change anything for us and that’s really really niceJ), and this time I had my family join me as wellJ…its one of those rare occasions where I’m very happy and excited about my parents being around:pJ……

And Like always there was so much I was looking forward,…I couldn’t wait to see the pretty bride, the bride’s very adorable mom and the newlyweds ”Prajna and Guru”.

 

We get dressed, manage to click a few pictures here and there and finally reach the venue…The excitement to see Akshatha was at its peak…we enter and at a distance I see the pretty, decked up bride on the Mantap smiling end to endJ, There was this glow on her face and there was nothing around worth looking at other than her face…I guess it was just her smile and that glow which made the whole event more beautiful(It isn’t any exaggeration, the pictures prove it all), I couldn’t take my eyes off her for long…,frankly all of us smiled for a while looking at her …Beautiful ,graceful, adorable and what more, to Compliment all of it was her very handsome groom besides her…Just soo Perfect!!!!

 

For me the smile she put up was not just about being happy but also about being brave and putting up a sense of comfort for the family…I’m sure there was a feeling of anxiousness within her. But looking at her, everything felt happy and perfect for me and maybe allJJ…That’s how she has always beenJJ…thumbs up for that!!!

It’s definitely a wedding I will cherish…You made a very beautiful Bride Akshatha. Hope you smile does a lot of good to you. Happy married life to you two. You both make a wonderful wonderful Couple…Big Big Hugs Aks…We love youJJ

 

And yes…The married Status to Prajna did not really change much;)…Keep the Madness going Praj..We love you for that...muuaaah..
